We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — our brand-new Sensory Shed officially opened on 26th September!  We were honoured to have Des Travers, CEO of DPD, join us on the day to cut the ribbon and celebrate this special moment.
The Sensory Shed has been created as a calm, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy — whether you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind, recharge, or explore soothing sensory features. It’s a little haven of comfort and joy, right here in our community

Carrick Cares Day
We are delighted to celebrate the success of Carrick Cares Day in Lough Key — a truly special event that brought our community together in the spirit of care, connection, and fun.
A heartfelt thank you to the Carrick-on-Shannon branch of the IWAI, the Irish Wheelchair Association, the Civil Defence, and the dedicated DPD team. Your passion, energy, and hard work made this day possible. The smiles and joy on the faces of everyone who attended were the best measure of its success.
From start to finish, the event was filled with warmth, laughter, and a genuine sense of belonging. It simply wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible teamwork and commitment you all poured into making it happen.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Inchcleraun VR Project is now in its final stages. In just a few short weeks, you’ll be able to step into a whole new way of experiencing Inchcleraun Island — where history, myth, and nature come alive through the power of virtual reality.

Each cruiser comes equipped with a reliable 9.9HP or 15HP engine, fish finder, rod holders, life jackets, and all the essentials for a safe, easy day on the water.

We had an unforgettable time at the ‘King of the Lake’ competition on Lough Ree, where seven of our regular customers joined us to take part in this exciting event. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spirit of friendly competition out on the water.

As part of County Roscommon Social Inclusion Week, some of our students enjoyed a wonderful visit to Lough Ree Access For All today. We had a fabulous time, with a spectacular boat trip that gave everyone the chance to experience the beauty and tranquility of Lough Ree from the water.
