The National Powerboat Certificate is a fully recognised certificate ratified by the Irish Sailing Association. The certificate can be used to apply for your International Certificate of Competence (ICC) which is often necessary if you wish to hire a boat abroad. The National Powerboat certificate is also a requirement for a Category-B Commercial Endorsement.
